MeroChat Child Safety Standards

These are the published child safety standards for MeroChat - Friendly Random Chat (MeroChat). MeroChat has zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE). These standards apply to every user and all content or activity on MeroChat.

Prohibited conduct and content

MeroChat strictly prohibits:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM), including real, altered, generated, or illustrated content that depicts or sexualizes a child.
• Grooming, sextortion, sexual solicitation of a child, trafficking, or any attempt to facilitate sexual contact with a child.
• Sharing, requesting, linking to, promoting, or storing content that sexually exploits or endangers children.
• Any other behavior that exploits, sexualizes, or places a child at risk.

A child is anyone under 18 years old. MeroChat is restricted to users who are 18 or older.

Reporting child safety concerns

Use MeroChat's in-app report and block controls when available, or email [email protected]. This monitored address is MeroChat's designated child safety point of contact. Include relevant account details and message or content information, but do not download, copy, or redistribute suspected CSAM.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or the appropriate law-enforcement agency.

Review and enforcement

MeroChat reviews reports and may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts, preserve relevant records, and take other steps needed to protect users. Violations may be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and relevant law-enforcement authorities when required or appropriate.

MeroChat responds to child safety reports in accordance with applicable law and cooperates with valid legal requests from law-enforcement agencies.
